Charley, ted, all..

Is it me or are these European games all a bit underwhelming, I suppose the PL still rules even if some don't like to admit it. Then again, maybe it's the non glam oppo we have played and the excitement will return in the knock out stages.

Fancy this will be a bit shit with back to the dreaded behind closed doors nonsense.

Morning all - looking forward to this a lot, especially to see how the Nips/Zouma/Diop triangle works out.

Not underwhelming to me at all, and all the names in our group actually mean something to me. Looking through the groups, this is a strong competition and a good benchmark of how far we have come.

I struggle to see how anyone would be underwhelmed by West Ham playing in Europe?

I have loved every game to date and fully expect a result tonight behind closed doors.

feet - I know it's West Ham playing in Europe, you smarmy cunt. I've noticed a lack of genuine excitement on here prior to these games and on other West Ham platforms. I may have imagined it though..

More posters will post about politics tonight than on this thread.

COYI

Expect a narrow win, and a Lanzini masterclass. Hoping to see a bit more of Alex Kral and a cheeky goal from each of our misfiring Slavic forwards.

I don't think Soucek is misfiring, it's just that he's playing in a different position than last season.

agree with you there sir

I really love these games and will do so even more if we can blood some youngsters as I feel we are going to need them.

Wouldn't be surprised to Perkins come on. With no crowd baying at him it should be an easier introduction, better than Mipo's.. He's a great finisher.

Stop giving these players such an easy ride, ffs. He has not been playing as well as last season, that is a simple fact. Moyes even said so himself. or is he wrong too?? Players CAN be criticized, you big fairy.

Coffee - Eat this up, you big fairy..

''West Ham manager David Moyes has admitted that midfielder Tomas Soucek is currently not at his best after his sides gut-wrenching defeat against Premier League newcomers Brentford.

Post-match, manager Moyes opened up about the tall midfielder's underwhelming form that has inadvertently seen partner Declan Rice flourish at the expense of the 26-year-old, who has so far failed to hit the heights of last season.

He admitted: "Tomas has not quite got on the end of things as well and things have not fallen for him.

"I think he is fighting for a wee bit of his best form. Is it to do with Declan getting forward a but more? Well I am hoping the two of them, can get goals and gives us two goalscoring midfield players but I think Tomas has struggled a wee bit."
